Scott County Public Library

Display of Community Information

In our effort to “build community”, the library offers display space for community information.

Designated space is available for community groups to set up a display of community information.  This space is available, at the discretion of the Library Director, to non-profit organizations engaged in intellectual, charitable, civic, cultural, educational and/or recreational activities.  The primary purpose of the display must be to inform the public of the organization’s programs, services and events.

Individuals seeking political office, or for-profit groups, companies, organizations or individuals, may NOT use display space.  Commercial advertising, solicitations and business cards may not be posted.

Exhibit space is available on a first-come, first-served basis.

Preference is given to local organizations and events.

Displays normally are allowed for a 2 – 4 week period.    The availability of space may of itself limit the display timeframe.

Groups are responsible for setting up and taking down their own display.

The library upon request will provide a table.

The displays of materials at the library DOES NOT imply endorsement by the library.
