Outreach

OutreachStoryTimeThe Scott County Public Library’s Outreach Department creates varied opportunities to communicate with the public. We help develop children’s interest in books at approximately 20 certified in-home and/or child care centers. As part of this, we read to approximately 400-500 children per month during the school year and between 100-200 children per month during the summer. The Outreach Department offers book drop-offs and pick-ups to certified in-home and/or child care centers. Holidays books can be requested on the the following topics- Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, Valentine’s Day, and Spring.  The Outreach Department delivers 400-600 books per month during the school year and delivers 300-500 books per month during summer break.
