The library offers free notary services in English and in Spanish.
You will need to provide completed documents to be notarized and a current photo ID.
The Library will not provide witnesses and witnesses may not be solicited from patrons using the library. A witness must (previously) personally know the person needing the service of the Notary. This individual must also provide a valid photo identification.
Photo identification for all signers and witnesses is required. The following types of photo I.D. are acceptable if they are not expired:
- Valid driver’s license or identification card issued by a U. S. state
- United States Passport
- Other U. S. government issued identification card that includes a picture and the signature of the person
We make every effort to have a notary available during all open hours, but due to scheduling issues, this is not always guaranteed.
Please call the library to confirm availability.
All signers must be present at the time of the notarization.
